Léda Bows from Hungary - Review
Léda Bows from Hungary
Great entry level asiatic bows. In lower poundages the bows draw nice, in higher poundage the bows will stack significantly.
Yet the price is around EUR35, so there is not much to complain. Thank you Joseph for your work!

Lovely looking bows. As you pointed out if the bowyer reduced the length of the handle section it would create a greater bending section in the limb and reduce the pound per inch drawn. That said at the price bracket its in,wow just wow!

Sehr gute Vorstellung.

Thank you Armin. I have always loved the idea of doing archery since I read about Robin Hood as a child, never really had the opportunity but all that has changed now so I am going to buy a Mongol bow and start out, let us see where this ends. I am a bit of a late starter (we are about the same age) and Asiatic archery appeals the most.

Hello sir, very pleasant watching your videos and received very valid information but here I have doubt regarding my bow testing. Sir, I am not new in archery shooting but being honest have never measured drawing length or bow lb pound and all. In my place we just simply play shooting, and while shooting i love medium hard bows. I request you sir to please recommend me a bow it's drawing length and it's lb pound and all. I am soon to purchase a bow from Alibaba, your suggestion will highly appreciated,. Love from north east india. Thank you sir

It takes years and 10’s of thousands of arrows to shoot accurately using this method, unless of course you have a natural gift. Frustrating as hell. Also if you are cross eye dominant this will not work easily unless you can switch to draw from the opposite side.

The korean war bow from Lukasz N is one of the best bows I own. If there were just one bow, this would be a hot candidate. I can highly recoment it. Comparing these two korean bows from Lukasz, I still prefer the war bow because of the tip design. Nice review as always.

Could you please introduce the posture of straightening the arm of the string hand back after shooting a bow, which exists in many Eastern archery techniques? This movement is called Onggakji(온깍지) in Korea, Hanare(離れ) in Japan, and Sashouyanfashi(撒手驗法勢) in China.

Super helpful, thank you. It makes sense of all the wild options. Also makes me feel mildly reassured about my somewhat impromptu buy of a fibreglass bow. It was a little marked up from 100 euros but shipping would have cost me close to that probably. I got a relatively low poundage, it has a nice leather wrapping to hide it's probably ugliness , and it definitely doesn't look like the tartar bow you're holding even tho the seller said it was a tartar style bow. Oh well! I also finally understand draw length. But i did not get arrows. And no clue if hand shock will kill all enjoyment bc it's actually a cheapo Chinese import. We'll see...

This is such a great bow but After having my SAS Scout survival bow break on me after admittedly heavy use after only a year over the same type of joints I'd hard pass on this one. The material is just too stressed. The slats are just not a stable enough way to attatch something under this much tension. But what wirries me the most is that unstring.
